Weiman supplies dependable power wherever it’s needed.
Fujian Weiman Power Technology Co., Ltd., one of China’s largest producers of dependable power systems, builds more than 8,000 generator sets a year in their 15,000 m2 facility in Fuan. Weiman systems ranging from 8 to 4000 kVA are exported to more than 50 countries and regions worldwide to provide primary and backup power in a broad range of critical applications.
Weiman uses the full range of Perkins electric power engines from the 400 to 4000 Series in its generator sets to support their focus on supplying customers with high-quality products and comprehensive service and support.
“Weiman’s generator sets, fitted with Perkins engines, have been tested in many extreme locations, from the snow to the desert, and have proved to deliver consistent, stable performance, winning the trust and praise of Weiman users all over the world,” explained Weiman general manager Changguang Huang.
In a recent example, Weiman recently supplied more than 100 generator sets to the Indonesian government to provide backup power for hospitals across the nation. All are powered by Perkins® 2000 Series engines with displacements ranging from 12.5 to 18.1 litres and outputs from 350 to 650 kVA in prime applications and 400 to 700 kVA in standby mode. Most are configured with Weiman’s ’Silent’ option to minimise operating noise in the hospital environment.
Weiman’s local Perkins authorised distributor, Sime Darby Elco Power Equipment, provides technical support as well as engines and parts. Changguang describes the relationship this way.
“Sime Darby Elco Power Equipment, has provided Weiman with high-quality and reliable Perkins engines for many years, in addition to providing strong support for Weiman’s after sales products.
“The Weiman team is focused on working together to continue delivering excellent products to meet customers’ varied power generation needs, wherever they are located around the world.”
