Weiman generator sets are built in a 15,000 m2 facility in Fuan that includes advanced laser cutters, CNC turret punches and bending machines, laser welders, and digital testing systems. Production is supported by CAD and 3D aided design systems as well as research, sales and after-sale service organisations.
Weiman primary and backup power systems are used in a broad range of critical applications. These include data centres, telecommunications facilities, airports, oil and gas production, mines, commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, industrial plants and many other places requiring dependable power.
Weiman’s decision to use the full range of Perkins electric power engines, from the 400 through to the 4000 Series, in its generator sets is part of the company’s focus on supplying customers with high-quality products and comprehensive service and support.

Weiman recently supplied more than 100 generator sets to the Indonesian government to provide backup power for hospitals across the nation. The generator sets provided range from 350 to 650 kVA in prime power applications and 385 to 715 kVA in standby installations. Most of them are configured with Weiman’s ’Silent’ option to minimise operating noise in the hospital environment.
All of the Indonesian generator sets are powered by Perkins® 2000 Series engines. These are proven workhorses with displacements ranging from 12.5 to 18.1 litres and outputs from 350 to 650 kVA in prime applications and 400 to 700 kVA in standby mode.
The Perkins 2000 Series engines used by Weiman are six cylinder inline turbocharged engines which meet current emission standards for power generation applications.
The ’trust and praise’ earned from Weiman users is also a reflection of the effectiveness of the global network of Perkins authorised distributors that supports Perkins engines. Genuine Perkins parts and trained technicians are available virtually anywhere a Weiman generator set is working.
