Facilities in India
Perkins Aurangabad: world-class
Completed in 2015, Our state-of-the-art production facility in Aurangabad has been built to manufacture and supply the complete Perkins® 4000 Series engine range for the power generation market, from 750 to 2500 kVA. The Aurangabad plant puts Perkins in a prime position to deliver on its promise to be the engine of choice for power generation.
Hosur: culture of quality
The Perkins Hosur plant produces the 1100 Series and the popular 2000 Series engines. The Hosur facility gives us and our customers in the Asia Pacific Region and Indian sub-continent the significant advantages of faster delivery times and greater ease of doing business within easy access to a hugely exciting developing market.

The atmosphere was electric as Perkins unveiled its high-power density and dependable new 4006 Electronic engine at packed launch events in three of India’s most thriving cities.
Perkins was proud to showcase its breakthrough 4006 Electronic engine to more than 800 customers and consultants at a series of exclusive launch events held across India.
The seminars in Mumbai, Kolkata and Ahmedabad proved hugely popular as visitors arrived for a first look at the powerful new engine solution that’s designed for India and built in India.
