The Perkins team in India is passionate about delivering excellent products and services that exceed our customers’ expectations each and every time.
As South Asia General Sales Manager, Pankaj provides leadership on all sales and marketing related activities in India, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. In India and the region, he works closely with Perkins electric power (EP) and industrial Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and liaises with multiple Perkins distribution partners to promote the sales of Perkins brand engines.
Pankaj joined Perkins in 2012, having previously worked in the engine industry for over 12 years in cross functional roles including strategy, growth analysis, due diligence, marketing and product development. Pankaj has a rich experience of over 18 years and leads the sales in the regions outlined above -- driving the top and bottom line growth strategy. He also leads the workstreams on growth of the Perkins brand and work on developing the 'path to market' in these regions.
In his previous role as Regional Marketing Managerfor South Asia, Pankaj was charged with growing Perkins brand awareness in India and across the wider region and led many successful initiatives designed to drive and deliver business growth. In 2015, Pankaj was appointed to the role of South Asia General Sales Manager (GSM).
Pankaj has an MBA from Johnson School of Management at Cornell University, USA; a Master of Science from Florida State University, USA, and a Batchelor of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, India. In 2019 he completed a Senior Leadership Development Programme at Harvard Business School.
As Regional Marketing Manager for Perkins Engines Company Limited, Abhinav Gupta leads the strategic marketing for India, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand, focused on driving regional sales growth.
He began his professional career in the industry at the start of the millennium and worked through developing, leading and implementing winning business strategies across a range of functions including sales andmarketing, international operations, project management and business development.
Having worked and travelled across different regionsand cultures, Abhinav is adept with international business dynamics and has a strong experience in stakeholder/business partner management.
During his tenure, brand awareness and visibility of Perkins has grown in the India market, significantly fuelling business growth in the Electric Power sector.
Abhinav has a degree in engineering, a post graduate education in International Business and General Management and recently accomplished the India leadership development programme.
