ARA members choose Robert Pedersen as President-elect.

Robert H. Pedersen was approved as the American Rental Association (ARA) president-elect by a vote of the general membership. He will assume the office at the conclusion of the ARA Show in New Orleans, Louisiana in February 2024.

Pedersen is the president and CEO of A Tool Shed in Santa Cruz, California and most recently co-chaired ARA Equipment Rental Shared Interest Group (SIG). A Rental Management magazine article reports that Pedersen’s main focus “is to get the membership excited about and participating in ARA’s programs.”

In addition to Pedersen, ARA general members also approved:

Marti Wenzler of Lawson Products as Associate Member Director
Steve Houser of U.S. Rents-It as Region Six director
Maureen Harkness, CERP of Cre8ive Events Rentals as Region Seven director
Sam Castillo of Tates Rents as Region Eight director
Kelly Brincheski of Collective Event Rentals as Region Ten director
