Heavy lifting with dependable performance

Not every forklift works inside factories and warehouses on smooth concrete floors. Some, like the Liftking 16M, are busy moving everything from roof beams to concrete blocks and anything else requiring heavy lifting through snow, mud, rain and high winds on many of the world’s most challenging job sites. Powered by a Perkins® 904J-E36TA diesel, the Liftking 16M is part of a product series that has been in continuous production since 1972.

The 904J-E36TA meets U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final and EU Stage V emission standards which is an important criteria for Liftking because thousands of their forklifts are used in places where these standards are in force. Equally important is the fact that the Perkins powered 16M forklift meets these emission standards without sacrificing the power needed for big lifting tasks and heavy-duty performance.

“Our experience shows that this engine will provide more than enough power for the applications and environments that Liftking works in,” said Liftking product manager, Guido Cameli.

“Dependability and durability have never been an issue with Perkins engines,” he added, “and we don’t expect this engine to be any different. Maintenance requirements are being constantly extended, which is not only a benefit for cost and downtime, but it also reduces waste.

“Perkins is a well-known brand with excellent service support worldwide,” says Guido. “When we offer equipment with a Perkins engine, it takes very little to convince a customer that the engine is the right one for their application.”
