Julian Wood has worked for Perkins Engines Company Limited for over two years. He possesses in-depth experience of parts distribution and marketing, having worked for both manufacturing and distribution, and in both sales and marketing roles.
Prior to joining Perkins, Julian worked in the Industrial manufacturing market for many years including 17 years in Industrial B2B distribution, supplying spare parts for repair, development and production. In this role he helped develop new commercial solutions and product offers by listening to and understanding customer needs.
Julian initially joined Perkins to market the popular 1100 Series, supporting its expansion into lesser regulated markets. In 2015 he became product marketing manager with responsibility for filters, belts, hardware and consumables. Recent achievements include the launch of Perkins Oil.
With a degree in Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Agriculture, Julian is able to apply science and engineering to the commercial sphere. He also has a Post Graduate CIM Diploma in Marketing.
