Agritechnica, the biennial behemoth for agricultural decision makers, has announced its theme and technical programme for 2025 states Power Progress.
Organised every two years in Hanover by the German agricultural society DLG, this year’s show will focus on increasing efficiency, sustainability and productivity through applying digital technologies, under the theme ‘Touch Smart Efficiency’.
In addition, DLG says it will tailor the show’s offering to particular visitor groups on each day of the show, which runs for a full week in November 2025. Topics will include ‘Environment and Safety’, ‘Innovative Drive Technologies’, ‘Networking and Automation’ and ‘Digital Services’.
Most of the world’s global farm equipment companies are represented at Agritechnica. Stand bookings for the event have been underway since mid-November. Exhibitors cover crop protection from sprayers to drones, tractors to autonomous equipment systems and from combines to digital assistance systems.
An integral part of the show is Systems & Components, recognising and underlining the fact that whether tractor, implement or robot, an agricultural machine consists of multiple components, from engines to tyres and sensors to shear bolts, selected and optimised to create a unique final product. In a dedicated space at this year’s event, engineers, developers, researchers, procurement managers, dealers, spare parts managers, OEMs and associations will discover developments and innovations in agricultural machinery components.
