Collaboration with Perkins

“As one of AGG’s suppliers, Perkins engines have been widely used in generator sets used in harsh environments due to the performance, reliability and durability of the engines,” explains Maggie Zhu, AGG China’s vice general manager. “Perkins-powered AGG generator sets have been put to the test in environments such as snow and deserts among others, but their stability is always the same, and the reliable performance is well received by AGG users worldwide.”

Powering the world

From the Perkins® 400 Series through to the 4000 Series, AGG generator sets powered by Perkins have successfully provided a reliable power supply to projects around the world. At the 2018 Asia Games in Jakarta, Indonesia, 40 AGG trailer generator sets fitted with a combination of Perkins® 1506A-E88TAG3, 2206C-E13TAG3 and 2506C-E15TAG2 engines provided standby power for the event.

While in Pakistan, more than 1,000 Perkins-powered AGG telecom generator sets fitted with Perkins® 403A-15G2 and 1103A-33G engines supported the construction of telecommunications base stations.
