With approximately 60,000 attendees and 1,500 exhibitors, this year’s World of Concrete (WOC) was one of the largest in almost a decade and an exciting chance for attendees to learn more about the latest trends and techniques in the construction industry.
“We were excited to participate in this year’s World of Concrete as it gave us an incredible opportunity to meet with a variety of equipment manufacturers as well as their customers to discuss our industry-leading engine product range and diverse emissions technology solutions. Additionally, we were excited to connect manufacturers and equipment operators from the construction industry to our exceptional Perkins distributor and parts network that allows us to provide a powerful logistics solution to our customers. Through our network of distributors, customers can be confident they’re getting high-quality Perkins parts as quickly as the next day, helping to dramatically decrease overall downtime,” said global marketing manager Dustin Childers.
This year, Perkins had the opportunity to showcase its U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final and EU Stage V certified 1204J, 1706J, 904J engines along with an 1104D replacement engine and interactive video display that took visitors on a journey through the inner workings of a Perkins engine.
Perkins engines also featured in a number of Perkins-powered machines including Wanco Inc.’s WSP25 mobile generator powered by a 404F-E22T and Transcrete America’s Trojan Series P60 concrete trailer pump fitted with a Perkins® 1104D engine.
Excitement is around every corner at World of Concrete, and we were pleased to have the opportunity to speak with the crew at ForConstructionPros.com about the latest features of thePerkins® 1204J Tier 4 Final engine and Perkins investment in aftermarket service.
Thank you to everyone who followed our WOC updates on social media or who stopped by the Perkins stand. We enjoyed speaking with you.
