In an article in Construction Briefing magazine, Ace Construction Equipment (ACE) executive director, Sorab Agarwal, cited India’s 6.5 percent annual GDP growth rate and expanding domestic and international markets for the company’s success.
ACE, based in Haryana, India, has posted year-on-year sales growth of 14.6 percent generating INR 3,420 crore (US$411 million) in revenue. That generated earnings of INR 599 crore (US#72.2 million) before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation. The company manufactures mobile, truck-mounted and tower cranes, piling equipment, backhoes, road building and maintenance equipment, loaders and telehandlers.
The article also reported that ACE had booked its largest single order ever, an INR 420 crore (US$50.6 million) project to deliver more than 1,100 telehandlers and associated equipment to the Indian armed forces.
Reporting says a slowing economy saw sales decline by 21 percent in 2024.
