Showcasing the future at Rental Show
Perkins underlined its position as the trusted choice for the booming global rental sector with a powerful showing at the annual Rental Show, sponsored by the American Rental Association (ARA). Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and rental business owners flocked to the Perkins stand for their first view in North America of the compact Perkins® Syncro range, along with replacement engine solutions and customer-focused aftermarket offerings.
Perkins reinforced its continued commitment to the rental industry with a successful exhibition of innovative engine and aftermarket solutions at the Rental Show 2017 in Orlando, Florida.
The event is the annual trade show and convention for the equipment rental industry, organised by the ARA – and is one of the most important events in the calendar for this sector.
Made for rental
Perkins enjoyed a powerful presence, showcasing the compact Perkins Syncro engine range to the North American market for the first time. On display were 1.7 litre, 2.2 litre and 2.8 litre versions, which are ideally suited to the rental market with their outstanding power density in a compact package and the flexibility to integrate perfectly into existing – and future – generations of machine.
Also taking centre stage was a 404D-22 replacement engine, highlighting the new range of remanufactured and replacement Perkins engine options, which offer competitive pricing and availability.
Unique support solution
Alongside the innovative engine solutions on display, Perkins also shone a spotlight on aftermarket offerings including its Rental Support Programme (PRSP). This offers support to rental companies by providing them with the tools and training to carry out their own minor repairs and maintenance on their Perkins engines. It’s a unique facility designed to get machines up and running – and back out on rent – as quickly as possible.
Throughout the show, Perkins rental experts engaged with a broad range of OEMs and rental business owners to find the right solutions for their specific needs.
