Highlighting its ongoing commitment to the rental industry at The ARA Show 2020, Perkins is displaying a comprehensive exhibit that includes Perkins® Syncro 2.2 and 2.8 litre engines—a top choice for rental OEMs—rental support programme updates, parts and service offerings, and new for 2020: hands-on demonstrations of Perkins updated rental-focused website and new rental customer portal.

The new site debuting at ARA Show 2020 makes it easier than ever for rental companies and their employees to access diagnostic tools and hardware, service training and personalised support that allows them the ability to conduct maintenance and repairs to Perkins engines in-house. The booth will also feature an addition to Perkins Rental Support Programme for 2020: the Perkins Rental Customer Portal (PRCP).


A centralised hub with all the most pertinent and relevant rental information for rental industry experts and novices alike, the PRCP provides direct access to ordering parts (via, a local Perkins distributor or SmartEquip™), operation and service manuals, warranty submissions and free online service training.

“We’re always looking for ways to help make owning, operating and maintaining a rental fleet as profitable endeavor as possible,” says Perkins global rental director, Andy Zuckerman. “That’s why we’ve created a place where rental fleets, no matter their location, can come to gain access to the latest tools and training along with Perkins personalised support. The goal being to empower rental fleets to keep up with much of their own maintenance updates and repairs without having to rely on costly and time-consuming third-parties.”
