International Rental News reports that the American Rental Association (ARA) Foundation has made US$128,500 (€110,000) available for 66 new scholarships in the 2022 - 2023 academic year. The scholarships range between $750 (€655) to $5,000 (€4,300). Five of the $5,000 grants are in a new category for ARA student members enrolled in high school or post-secondary institutions.
ARA scholarships can be used for higher education courses in trade schools, universities and community colleges. Applicants must be associated with the equipment or event rental industry and pursuing a career related to the industry.
In total, the ARA scholarship programme has awarded more than $1,000,000 to students.
