At the Peterborough facility we are responsible for the marketing, sales and manufacture of industrial engines up to 7.1 litres which are used to power construction, agricultural and materials handling equipment, as well as provide electric power for generator sets, for customers around the world.

Disciplines

  • Technical: Data, Engineering, Environmental, Health and Safety, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality.
  • Business: Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain.

Note: the structure of our schemes, which include qualifications, delivery models, schedules, and content will differ dependent on discipline, level, course and college/university partners.

 

  • You must be aged 16 or over by time of employment and there is no upper age limit.
  • You must not be in full-time education by time of employment.
  • You must have attained the relevant qualifications (or equivalents) as outlined in the vacancy you are applying for and be able to evidence them.
  • You must not have completed any prior training or a previous apprenticeship similar or the same as the vacancy you are applying for.
  • You must be eligible to complete an apprenticeship in England, UK, as per the relevant funding rules.

 

We typically recruit apprentices for our Peterborough facility between January to March each year. When we’re recruiting, you’ll find links to our apprenticeship vacancies here.

  • Application Form Screening - Your application will be passed through a rigorous screening process by our third party service provider or UK Recruitment Team.
  • Telephone or Face-to-Face Interview - Depending on the discipline, our third party service provider or UK Recruitment Team will have the opportunity to ask you more about your preferences and explore some of your skills and competencies a little further.
  • Testing - Depending on the discipline, you may be required to undertake some occupational tests. These typically take place prior to your assessment centre.
  • Factory Tour – Applicants for our Level 3 Engineering Technician apprenticeship are required to attend a factory tour. These typically take place a couple of weeks before the assessment centre.
  • Assessment Centre - This will consist of group exercises, an interview and a presentation. Details will vary depending on the discipline applied for.
