Perkins heads to New Orleans from February 19-21, for The Rental Show 2018, a must-attend event for anyone in the global rental industry. Perkins will reaffirm its commitment to this booming sector with two new engine options on display alongside valuable aftermarket services, all designed to make life easier and more profitable for those working in the rental market.
Perkins will introduce its new Perkins® Syncro 2.8 litre and 3.6 litre engines in North America at The Rental Show, the annual trade show and convention for the equipment rental industry organised by the American Rental Association (ARA).
Perkins will also feature its 400 and 1200 Series engines, as it demonstrates the sweeping range of solutions ideally suited for the rental market.
This year’s can’t miss rental event runs from February 19-21, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. Perkins will be there with a powerful line-up, not only with its debut of new engines, but also proven engine solutions and industry-leading support services, all aimed squarely at the booming rental market.
The full range of Perkins Syncro engines, which extends from 1.7-3.6 litre, provides optimised performance, reliability and easily adaptable technology ideal for the rental sector.
Alongside the exceptional performance and reliability of its engines, Perkins is renowned for its industry-leading aftersales support. The Perkins Rental Support Program (PRSP) plays a vital role, and this will be a key focus for the business at this year’s show.
Through this programme, Perkins offers support to rental companies by providing them with the tools and training to carry out their own minor repairs and maintenance on their Perkins engines. It also gives them the channels to escalate any problems quickly, all the way to the factory, if necessary. PRSP is designed to help both Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and their customers get the most out of their Perkins engines.
Visitors to the Perkins stand will also see a demonstration of the new Perkins® SmartCap and Perkins® My Engine App. These innovative solutions give Perkins customers easy access to truly useful engine information, such as running hours, start/stop data, parts book, up-and-coming services and a completed service log.
In addition, show attendees can see a live demonstration of the new online parts ordering offering on perkins.com/shop launched last year. Targeted at equipment owners and rental businesses, the online shop allows US customers of Perkins engines to buy genuine Perkins parts online. Perkins.com/shop offers quick, easy access to the most commonly ordered Perkins parts, including filters and service kits.
