Third 'Product Support on Wheels’ event organised for industrial customers in India

Gmmco Power, Perkins appointed distributor for South, Central and West India recently organised its third ‘Product Support on Wheels’ event.

Six personnel from Gmmco Power from offices in Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and Gujarat, travelled over 1,732 kilometres from 17-21 June 22, covering seven cities in Gujarat. They connected with fleet customers who own machines including pavers, generator sets, and construction machines powered with Perkins engines.

During the campaign 50 personnel, including operators, technicians and maintenance engineers from customers associated with Perkins’ engines were trained about the operation and maintenance practices, dos and don’ts practices, the risk of using non-genuine spares on the engine throughout its life, scheduled oil sampling (SOS), and use of the Perkins® My Engine App.

The first Product Support on Wheels by Gmmco Power was organised in December 2019, followed by the second event in December 2021.
