Perkins connects with customers at electric power seminar in Hyderabad
Perkins, in collaboration with generator OEM Supernova Engineers Limited, hosted a customer seminar in Hyderabad (India) on October 6, 2026, bringing together end users, consultants, and industry stakeholders from across the electric power sector.
The event attracted more than 150 attendees and provided an opportunity to discuss evolving power generation requirements, industry trends, and the latest Perkins engine solutions. Participants engaged actively throughout the session, interacting with Perkins specialists and sharing insights on the opportunities and challenges facing the market.
Sriram Krishnamoorthy, Perkins business manager, delivered the keynote address and presented how Perkins continues to support customers with reliable, efficient, and innovative power solutions. Also attending the event was Abhinav Gupta, general sales manager, South Asia, who met with customers and consultants during the seminar.
A key highlight of the event was the display of a containerised 1010 kVA Supernova generator set powered by a Perkins® 4008 engine. Attendees were invited to take part in a guided walk-around of the unit, providing a close-up look at the performance and capabilities of Perkins-powered solutions for power generation applications.
