One of the forerunners in road construction machinery, Hydrog, has been working closely with Perkins to ensure it stays on the fast lane to global success.
In a little under three decades, Polish equipment experts Hydrog have grown to become one of the most trusted names in road construction machines. Today, the company is considered to be Poland’s biggest manufacturer of professional machinery as well as one Europe’s largest.
Much of Hydrog’s success has been driven by its commitment to delivering exceptional quality, unprecedented reliability and technical excellence. The presence of Perkins engines across its range has also been central to building a strong reputation for reliable and powerful machines.
Hydrog’s flagship products include road wideners (Hydrog DG-1500), bitumen emulsion sprayers (Hydrog SH-Premium), blow patchers (Hydrog PA-5000) and mastic asphalt boilers (Hydrog KA-4400).
All these machines are powered by Perkins® 403D-15 and 404D-22 engines. These 3 and 4-cylinder, water-cooled units deliver 25 kW (33 hp) and 33 kW (44 hp) respectively. They contribute to the machines’ saleability by providing dependable performance and low operating and ownership costs.
Away from the road, Hydrog also supplies highly efficient equipment for winter maintenance on the railways. The company’s snow-clearing ORKA-2500 is powered by a 110 kW (150 hp) Perkins® 1204F-E44TA IOPU (industrial open power unit), which drives an immense 1,500 kg hydraulic power unit. The machines were recently selected by the Polish government to deliver a high-value railway maintenance contract.
Hydrog’s long-standing partnership with Perkins continues to go from strength to strength. The alliance of two trusted brands gives great confidence to any customer looking for efficient and reliable machines for roads and railways.
With a growing presence of Hydrog dealerships, coupled with the advantage of having globally trusted Perkins engines on board, Hydrog is on the right road to achieving continued growth at home – and across the globe.
