Perkins industrial engines move into a new power bracket for variable speed applications with the launch of our 1700, 2200, 2500 and 2800 models. This expanded range gives Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) the ability for the first time to power their full line-up of global machines with Perkins engines and benefit across the board from their proven performance and durability.

Four new product platforms, the 9 litre 1700 Series, 13 litre 2200 Series, 15 litre 2500 Series and 18 litre 2800 Series, more than doubled the power range that we offer, extending it to 8.2-597 kW (11-800 hp).
The new models give OEMs a fresh proposition – a range that runs all the way from smaller 0.5 litre engines to much larger, variable speed, 18 litre units. Your business can save time and money by going to just one supplier – Perkins – to meet all your engine needs for your global machine line-up.

Launched at Bauma 2016, the range extension comprises
1706 - 6 cylinder, 9.3 litre turbocharged and aftercooled unit with direct injection and a fully electronic control system. Power range of 250-340 kW (335-456 hp).
2206 - 6 cylinder, 13 litre turbocharged and aftercooled unit with direct injection and a fully electronic control system. Power range of 287-388 kW (385-520 hp).
2506 - 6 cylinder, 15 litre turbocharged and aftercooled unit with direct injection and a fully electronic control system. Power range of 328-444 kW (440-595 hp).
2806 - 6 cylinder, 18 litre turbocharged and aftercooled unit with direct injection and a fully electronic control system. Power range of 429-597 kW (575-800 hp).
