Perkins ready to reinforce Latin American presence at Agrishow 2017

Perkins at Middle East Electricity 2017
This year's exhibition, focused on the global electric power sector, was busier than ever for Perkins. A leading provider of diesel and gas engines to the electric power market, the Perkins stand featured a range of engines which deliver dependable electric power to the telecoms sector, prime power installations and the standby power market.
With over 40% of the generator sets exhibited at the show powered by a Perkins engine, we spoke to our customers to get their thoughts on why Perkins is the engine of choice for power generation.
Showcasing the future at Rental Show
Perkins underlined its position as the trusted choice for the booming global rental sector with a powerful showing at the annual Rental Show, sponsored by the American Rental Association (ARA). Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and rental business owners flocked to the Perkins stand for their first view in North America of the compact Perkins® Syncro range, along with replacement engine solutions and customer-focused aftermarket offerings.
Perkins takes centre stage at Bauma China
Perkins introduced new engines and customer service and support programmes at Bauma China 2016 in a demonstration of its continued commitment to the China market and its customers there. Perkins unveiled its new Perkins® Syncro 2.8 litre engine at the show and introduced the market to its new 9-18 litre extended industrial engine range with Perkins first-ever display in China of an industrial engine larger than 7.1 litres.
Visitors from 36 countries at METS 2016
Perkins saw an increase in visitors to their stand at the Marine Equipment Trade Show, METS, held in Amsterdam in November.
Perkins welcomed distributors, dealers, and customers to speak with the team from Wimborne, UK. On display, visitors could see the M92B and the 400 packager series as well as speaking with the knowledgeable team to understand the developments within Perkins and the complete product range.
Outstanding success for Perkins at CIAME 2016
Perkins demonstrated its commitment to China and the importance Chinese agriculture sector with a strong presence at one of the most important trade exhibitions in the year, the China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition (CIAME 2016). The show gave Perkins the opportunity to highlight its leading technology and its ‘made in China’ credentials to the country’s foremost original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), trade associations and media.
Perkins products take centre stage at Stockholm conference
A team from Perkins is at a top trade event in Sweden to promote two important products to leading figures in the rental market.
The team is showing off our compact but powerful 404F-E22TA engine, along with our recently-launched Perkins Diesel Engine Oil at the influential European Rental Association (ERA) annual conference in Stockholm.
As well as being a showcase for our products, the event – which we’re sponsoring for the second time this year – gives people connected with the rental sector the chance to meet up for high-level talks, presentations, workshops and seminars.
Bauma 2016: cementing Perkins place as a global leader in construction
Perkins laid out its plans at Bauma 2016 for powering the construction sector of tomorrow. The innovative Perkins® Syncro range – a flexible engine offering designed to meets the needs of global equipment manufacturers – was launched at the show. An extension of our industrial range to cover power requirements from 8.2 up to 597 kW (11-800 hp) attracted strong interest as did a wide range of service and support options including the new Perkins diesel engine oil and Platinum Protection.
Perkins reinforced its position as a true global partner for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the construction sector at Bauma 2016 – the biggest yet, with 580,000 visitors from 200 countries.
Perkins at LAMMA ‘16
In January 2016, Perkins made its first appearance at LAMMA, the UK’s largest farm machinery and services showcase. The event was held at the 125-acre East of England Showground, Peterborough, UK, and gave us the opportunity to demonstrate our continuing commitment to end users, dealers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the agricultural sector.
LAMMA ’16 was held over two days, with more than 40,000 end users visiting the 900 exhibitors at the site. Perkins was appearing in partnership with DiPerk Power Solutions, our appointed distributor for Great Britain.
