Less maintenance and more uptime with Perkins^® Extended Life Coolant Advanced

Designed to provide optimum engine performance and protection, Perkins® ELCA offers service intervals of up to 6,000 hours in Perkins industrial engines, around twice that of conventional coolants. The longer service life helps customers reduce maintenance downtime, simplify servicing and lower coolant-related costs by up to 50 percent.

Supplied as a ready-mixed 50/50 blend of coolant and purified water, ELCA eliminates the need to source de-ionised water and helps ensure the correct coolant mixture every time. 

Additionally, no cleaning agents are required when draining Perkins ELCA at the change interval. Suitable for both gasoline and diesel engines, it allows customers to standardise on a single coolant across mixed fleets, simplifying maintenance and inventory management.

Engine protection you can count on

ELCA is engineered to help protect cooling systems in a wide range of operating conditions, helping prolong the life of equipment working in demanding environments. By providing freeze protection down to -37°C and boiling protection up to 129°C, ELCA helps safeguard engines against temperature extremes while protecting cooling system components, including aluminium. The coolant also helps prevent gel formation and reduce the likelihood of hard water scale, supporting long-term cooling system performance.

Developed, tested and approved by Perkins, ELCA meets or exceeds a range of industry specifications, including ASTM D-3306, ASTM D-6210, SAE J1034 and Cat EC-1. Suitable for use in a wide range of industrial diesel engines, it provides a Perkins-approved solution designed to help customers get the most from their equipment.
