Over the last few years Perkins has become a regular exhibitor at the Newark Vintage Tractor and Heritage Show and this year the company is going all out to celebrate and demonstrate nearly 85 years of agricultural innovation.
Situated in the George Stephenson Hall, Perkins will be exhibiting a range of iconic engines which have shaped the agricultural sector over the years. Among the engines on show is a sectioned P6, which was one of the company’s original show engines dating back to the 1950s. A sectioned 6.354 and sectioned L4 will also be exhibited in addition to a number of other lesser-known Perkins engines.
Members of the Perkins Heritage Group will be on hand throughout the show to answer questions on the company’s history and on its iconic engines.
While DiPerk, the Perkins distributor for Great Britain, will also be available to provide expert advice and guidance on how to look after and service the latest diesel engines.
