Dependable engine solutions, designed to give Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the electric power (EP) sector a competitive edge, take centre stage for Perkins at China Power 2017. The event, one of the most significant power generation shows in Asia, provides the ideal opportunity for Perkins to demonstrate its commitment to OEMs in the region, reinforce relationships with existing customers – and build powerful new partnerships.
Perkins heads to China Power 2017 ready to reaffirm the strength of its products, global standards and services to OEMs in the EP sector across the Asia-Pacific region.
The event, from May 4-6, marks the 16th anniversary of one of the largest power generation shows in Asia. Organisers expect almost 30,000 visitors to converge on the Shanghai New International Expo Centre on the show’s opening day, providing a fantastic opportunity for Perkins to meet existing customers and build greater brand awareness among OEMs and end users.
The company will showcase a number of engine solutions designed to meet the requirements of EP customers in the competitive Asia-Pacific region. Among them will be the 2506D, an engine ideally suited for prime and standby power from 455-687 kVA – and equipped to meet China Non-Road Stage III emissions standards.
Also on show will be a production engine from Perkins powerful 4000 Series. For more than 20 years, the company has made major investments in the design and build of the 4000 Series, and it is now firmly established as a trusted and dependable source of prime and standby power for OEMs.
A 403A-11G2 engine will also be exhibited as Perkins reinforces the value of the 400 Series as a high-performance engine solution in key sectors such as telecoms and lighting towers.
A replacement engine – the 404D-22 – will be on the stand to help raise awareness of Perkins remanufactured and replacement engines, the most complete range in the industry. These are now more cost-effective and readily available than ever before, no matter where in the world you are.
With product support an integral part of Perkins success, the company will also be using the event to showcase a number of aftermarket offerings. These include Perkins® Platinum Protection, which, product depending, gives end-users the opportunity to extend their standard warranty from 2-10 years, and Perkins® Diesel Engine Oil, which is proven to maximise engine life, control emissions and reduce the cost of maintenance.
“China Power 2017 is a fantastic opportunity to build greater awareness of our brand – and everything we stand for – across this important region and to show OEMs that we have a dependable power solution for them, whatever their EP needs.”
