Perkins launches its second new compact engine at Agritechnica 2019 – the Perkins® Syncro 2.2 litre – designed exclusively for tractors. Read more here.

904J-E36TA for tractors

Maximum Power: 100 kW

Maximum Torque: 530.0 Nm @ 1500 rpm

Emissions: EU Stage V. EPA Tier 4 Final. Japan MLIT Step 4

Stores energy in ruggedised lithium ion batteries. Long duration energy storage makes it suitable for machines with less predictable operating cycles. 48-volt electrics provide wider integration opportunities and fuel saving.

1706J-E93TA industrial diesel engine

Maximum Power: 340 kW

Maximum Torque: 1993.0 Nm @ 1400 rpm

Emissions: EU Stage IV/U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final

Optimised for machines with short and repeated operating cycles such as loading. Rapid release of stored energy. This solution offers an attractive path to engine downsizing as it takes less space than other solutions.

2806J-E18TA industrial diesel engine

Maximum Power: 630.0 HP

Maximum Torque: 2178.0 lb-ft @ 1400 rpm

Emissions: EU Stage V - ready

Stores excess energy from the engine, and recovered energy from machine systems, in a hydraulic accumulator. Offers rapid release of stored energy and leverages existing machine hydraulics. Service network friendly.

Hybrid and electric technologies on display at Agritechnica 2019

Perkins has worked with many Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to understand both the operating cycle of real customer machines and the space available in these machines for power systems. What is clear from this work is that there are multiple possible technology configurations for offhighway machines. The optimum solution for installation complexity, component cost, durability, productivity and fuel consumption will vary considerably by machine type and use.
