Sue Ryder Care is Perkins' Charity of the Year.

A national charity providing help for people in desperate need of specialist care, Sue Ryder Care has strong associations with Perkins' UK facility bases - Peterborough, Stafford and Irlam

  • Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough offers specialist nursing and medical care alongside comprehensive support to family and carers
  • In Stafford, the charity's home care service provides around 2,000 hours of care each week for adults with a range of long-term conditions
  • A variety of facilities including Birchley Hall and Cuerdon Hall are located around Manchester with the charity also providing approximately 1,800 hours of care a week for adults with a range of conditions

Perkins, which matches all monies raised by employees, hopes to continue to add to the £41,000 which it raised for Sue Ryder Care in the first year of the two year partnership.

As well as supporting the charity's fundraising initiatives, Perkins' employees will also be undertaking a number of voluntary activities, all in aid of Sue Ryder Care.
