Welcome to Factory Tours

The tour provides an insight into Perkins history and will begin in the Heritage Centre. You will also have the opportunity to see engine production and machining for our 6 cylinder product through to test, finish and paint.

A typical tour lasts 90 minutes which includes a safety presentation. 

Key Tour Information:

• Offered Monday-Thursdays at 10 am and 1 pm
• Members of the public, student groups and clubs will only be permitted to tour the facility on a Monday (number of participants is limited)
• Requests must be submitted at least 5 working days prior to your preferred tour date for groups less than 10 people
• Requests for groups larger than 10 people must be submitted 4 weeks prior to your preferred tour date
• We cannot accommodate requests for groups larger than 30 people
• Should you wish to cancel a tour please provide us with at least 24 hours notice to factorytour@perkins.com
• All participants must adhere to the safety guidelines, please ensure you have read and can conform to these before completing your request.
  Failure to do so will result in individuals being denied access to the factory for the tour 
• Failure to arrive on time for your tour may result in your tour being cancelled and on-site access denied
• No more than the agreed amount of people will be allowed on site
• We reserve the right to cancel, restrict or modify tours at any time depending on production requirements
