Perkins’ commitment to helping local groups has been rewarded after the firm was named as the community business of the year... Our Community

Perkins' commitment to helping local groups was recognised after it was named community business of the year 2007. Judges in the Evening Telegraph's Pride in Peterborough awards chose Perkins as the city-based business that has done most for the local community. Perkins had previously won the award in 2005 & 2003.

Internally commitment to training and staff development has been recognised through the re-accreditation of its Investors in People status. The report found deep loyalty as an employer, strong senior management commitment to the philosophy of people development, constant and determined desire to improve and instigate new initiatives, a supportive management culture, and excellent efforts to effectively communicate throughout the business.
